Featuring bassists Matthew Henninger and Cameron McLaughlin, Michigan-based six-piece ensemble Balancing Act play an organic mixture of funk, neo-soul, and groove jazz. Also showcasing the talents of guitarist Gjergji "George" Theka, drummer/vocalist Jonathan Ovalle, organist Joshua Shilling, and vocalists Madeline Davis and Angel Bond, Balancing Act released their self-titled debut album in 2005.
